Remote Tutoring

Our top priority is keeping the community safe. Second to that, our mission is to support learning in whatever way we can. We love working one-on-one with your students and deeply appreciate the ongoing opportunity to do so. So in order to continue serving students while keeping them as safe as we can, we are offering remote video tutoring using Zoom video conferencing.

We are also offering limited in-person tutoring, subject to our COVID policies and guidelines.

Either way, if you’re a new client looking to begin tutoring sessions, please send an email to greg@nwtutoring.com, so we can begin the scheduling process.

Please check out these tips for getting the most out of your video tutoring sessions.

We’ve already shown that we can have productive sessions with students using just their laptop camera and the screen share feature of Zoom, but we have found a relatively cheap document camera that makes it easy for student and coach to see each other’s work. This is especially helpful for math and science problems, but generally helpful for most any schoolwork. Our coaches are currently using these cameras to show students how to work through problems.
